From San Francisco using Highway 101:

1. Take 101 South to San José.
2. Take Santa Clara St. exit towards Alum Rock Ave.
3. Turn Left onto E. Santa Clara St.
4. E. Santa Clara St. becomes Alum Rock Ave. The Plaza is a half mile down on the right.

From San Francisco using Interstate 280:

1. Take 280 South to San José.
2. Take King Road exit (just past the junction with 101).
3. Make a left on King Road.
4. The Plaza is on your right at the corner of King and Alum Rock.

From Oakland using Interstate 880:

1. Take 880 South to San José.
2. Take 101 South towards Los Angeles.
3. Follow the above SF Highway 101 directions.

From Gilroy, Morgan Hill and South San José using Highway 101:

1. Take 101 North to San José.
2. Take Alum Rock Ave. exit towards Santa Clara St.
3. Turn Right onto Alum Rock Ave.
4. The Plaza is a half mile down on the right.

From Concord using Interstate 680:

1. Take 680 south to San José.
2. Take Alum Rock Ave. exit
3. Turn Right onto Alum Rock Ave.
4. The Plaza is less than a mile down on the left.

Public Transit

• VTA Bus Routes 12, 22, 23, 77, 522 all service the Mexican Heritage Plaza.
• For those taking CalTrain to the Plaza, get off at the San Jose Diridon Station, walk a few steps to Santa Clara Street and get on the 22 or 522. Get off on King and Alum Rock, which is right in front of the Plaza.
• From the east bay, taking BART to the Fremont station, followed by taking the 180 Express to the San Jose Diridon Station, is the easiest way to get to the Plaza. Once at Diridon, follow the directions above.
