Why Support Teatro Visión?

Contrary to popular belief, ticket sales cover less than a quarter of what it costs Teatro Visión to produce theater that is truly one of a kind.

We rely on the generosity of individuals, private businesses, government/public institutions, corporations and private foundations to sustain programming that embodies the spirit of Latino culture and furthers a mission born of a search for understanding.

Volunteer

There are many ways you can be involved at Teatro Visión. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Carlos Velázquez at (408) 928-5581 or carlos@teatrovision.org

Examples of some of the hands-on ways you can become involved with Teatro Visión as a Volunteer include the following:

• Special Events – assist us as an usher, and setting up our lobby during performances
• Scanning/Mailing List – Scanning photos/articles and updating our mailing list
• Outreach – Input and assistance in delivering and posting flyers and posters of our plays around San Jose
• Translations – English/Spanish translations for outreach materials, website, and theater & performance presentations
• Video/Photo Documentation – of programs and special events
